New England Revolution signs forward Bjorn Runstrom

The New England Revolution announced the signing of Swedish forward Bjorn Runstrom on a free transfer. Runstrom,  28, will occupy an international spot on the team’s roster once he receives his U.S. P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate.

MLS First Kick: New England Revolution at San Jose Earthquakes

The New England Revolution didn’t get the easiest of season openers. The Revolution start the season on the west coast , where the Revs haven’t won since Sept. 26 2009 when they beat the Seattle Sounders, 1-0, with the San Jose Earthquakes.

New England hopes to end a 10 game winless streak on the west coast, 0-8-2, and begin its new season with a win for its new coach, Jay Heaps.

New England Revolution fill needs with signing of Lozano and Cárdenas

Players signed on one-year loans with option to buy

On Monday, Jan. 9, the New England Revolution announced the signing of two players from Colombia, John Lozano and Fernando Cárdenas. Cárdenas and Lozano signed with the Revs from América de Cali, which competed in Colombia’s Apertura league until it was relegated at the end of the season after losing in a playoff in penalty kicks.

New England Revolution Make Important Moves Before MLS Draft

The New England Revolution has been quiet for a large portion of the Major League Soccer offseason. The team has been doing more cutting than adding since the end to the dismal 2011 season. But ahead of this week’s MLS 2012 SuperDraft, the Revolution went out and made a surprise move. A move that should help the team in the upcoming draft.
