Joseph Returns to Lineup

By Ryan Fleming

Shalrie Joseph will join the New England Revolution tonight as they take on Toronto FC according to the Boston Globe’s Frank Dell’Apa.
Earlier this season it was reported that Joseph took an indefinite leave of absence for personal reasons while he was recovering from a hip flexor injury. But on April 26th the Revolution midfielder entered what is now known to be the league’s substance abuse program.

This “indefinite leave” was actually the league’s five-game mandatory suspension. Joseph last played on April 10th when the Revs beat TFC, 4-1. The Revs will welcome the star with open arms and hope to end their six-match winless streak tonight.
